New Concept in

Classroom Amplification Systems

A newly designed classroom amplification system has been introduced by Custom Audio Design*.  It is a recent innovation which mounts clusters of speakers in the ceiling.  The cluster is made of five speakers and distributes sound more evenly than wall mount speakers. The speakers are mounted in an inverted pyramid module that is installed on the ceiling in the center of each room.  This innovative design alleviates the problems of inconsistent speaker placement and inconsistent dB levels of sound (traditionally, the student closest to the speaker receives a louder signal than those in the center of the room). The overhead array prevents speakers from having things placed in front of them.  Installation time is cuts by 90%.  The speaker array sits in the framework of a suspended ceiling tile or is mounted flush on the ceiling. One wire runs from there to the amplify.  To complete the system in a receiver and  cordless transmitter/microphone to provide teacher mobility.  This cluster speaker array provides consistent dispersion of sound, is competitively priced and easy to install.  For information call Custom Audio Design* at 1-800-355-7525.
